28th Annual Watermelon Festival
8th Annual Watermelon Festival Bike Ride
Presented by the Russellville Kiwanis
Saturday, August 8, 2009
65 & 35 mile ride begins at 7:30 a.m.
- Start and finish at Russellville High School Fine Arts Building
- Course length of 65 and 35 miles.
- $20 per rider until August 1 and $25 per rider up until the day of the race.
- Registration begins at 6 a.m. August 8.
- Rest stops approximately every 15 to 20 miles with restrooms available.
- Rest stops will have cold water, snacks and sports drinks.
- Route maps will be available the day of the event. All routes will be marked and patrolled by support vehicles.
- Everyone will be required to read and sign a release form before beginning the ride.
- Everyone will be required to wear a helmet at all times.
- Showers and a meal will be available after bike ride.
