8th Annual Watermelon Festival Bike Ride

Presented by the Russellville Kiwanis

Saturday, August 8, 2009
65 & 35 mile ride begins at 7:30 a.m.

  • Start and finish at Russellville High School Fine Arts Building
  • Course length of 65 and 35 miles.
  • $20 per rider until August 1 and $25 per rider up until the day of the race.
  • Registration begins at 6 a.m. August 8.
  • Rest stops approximately every 15 to 20 miles with restrooms available.
  • Rest stops will have cold water, snacks and sports drinks.
  • Route maps will be available the day of the event. All routes will be marked and patrolled by support vehicles.
  • Everyone will be required to read and sign a release form before beginning the ride.
  • Everyone will be required to wear a helmet at all times.
  • Showers and a meal will be available after bike ride.

Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast
Friday March 26, 2010 from 6:00 am – 9:30 am at First Baptist Church. All you can eat pancakes, sausage and drink for $5.00
